S’mores Contest Update!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

Hello, everyone! I come with exciting news! We did it! I am one of the three winners of the Ghiardelli and The Feedfeed’s S’mores Contest!!!

I received the news on Thursday afternoon while I eating lunch, and the winners were officially announced today on The Feedfeed’s instagram! Thank you so much to everyone who voted and shared the link. Your support means everything!

Like I said in my S’mores Mousse Parfait Recipe, this experience wasn’t about winning. While it’s amazing that I am one of the winners of the s’mores contest, the fact that I put myself out there is what really matters to me. I am so thankful for The Feedfeed, Ghiardelli, and all of you, and I know I sound like a broken record, but I really appreciate the support I’ve been getting from everyone.

Sorry, if I sound like I just won an academy award, but it’s so amazing to see how I literally started this blog about 2 months ago, and I’ve been able to reach this accomplishment so soon. If you can take anything from this experience, it would be to stop dreaming and start working. For years, I wanted to start my own blog because I found so much inspiration from other blogs. I never really did anything to start making this dream come true until this summer. I finally thought “why the heck not?” There was nothing stopping me from starting my blog, besides the unknown of it all and the intimidation, but you really can’t let those things get in the way. Your dream doesn’t have to be a dream if you make it your reality. You have to work hard to get what and where you want.

With that pep talk out of the way, again, from the bottom of my heart and soul, thank you, thank you, thank you! This is only the beginning!
