Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog Olives & Lamb! I’d like to start my first post off by saying I have no idea what the f*ck I’m doing, but I guess that’s how we all start off when trying something new. I don’t want to delve too much into my personal information because all of that will be in the “About” tab; however, I figured it’d be nice to at least know my name and some general information about me.
My name is Olivia, and I’m from Long Island, New York. Olives & Lamb is meant to be a place where I can share the recipes I’ve developed. My passion for food grew from watching food TV shows, reading food magazines, and looking at online food blogs. Currently, I draw most of my inspiration from food blogs. I have a list of food blogs in my Notes on my laptop that I go to for recipes. These recipes then become inspirations to new recipes through adjusting the amounts and ingredients.
Because of my relationship with food blogs, I finally got the balls to start up my own blog. I never thought I would actually do this, because it seemed intimidating (it still is), but I became tired of always dreaming about starting a blog when doing so was actually something plausible. This will not be an easy journey, but with a little, blood, sweat, and minimal social interaction, I will get where I want to be. Overall, I hope Olives & Lamb can come to be a place where people can find inspiration, just as I have with other food blogs. So until I can figure out how to operate a f*cking website, I will see you in my next post!
