Ingredients

  • 3 cups Mini Pretzels
  • 3 cups Honeycomb Cereal
  • 3 cups Rice Chex
  • 3 cups Corn Chex
  • 3 cups Bugles
  • 3 cups Nori Arare (Nori Rice Crackers)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tbsp White Miso Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 jar Nori Goma Furikake

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 250˚F. Line a few baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, toss the pretzels, Honeycomb, Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Bugles, and nori arare together until the ingredients are evenly combined.
  • In a small sauce pot, add in the unsalted butter, maple syrup, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, white miso paste, and dark soy sauce. Heat it over medium heat and whisk until gently bubbling. The butter should be melted and the miso paste well incorporated.
  • Pour this mixture into the bowl of snacks and sprinkle the nori goma furikake over top. Gently toss the mixture together until each snack piece is evenly coated with the glaze and furikake seasoning.
  • Evenly distribute the snack mix between the parchment lined baking sheets. Bake them in the oven for 1 hour, mixing the snacks every 15 minutes to make sure it cooks evenly. Remove the snack mix from the oven and allow it to cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
