Garlic Heaven
I think we can all agree that a universally loved flavor is garlic parmesan. It’s simple but also packs a punch. The best part is that it somehow manages to go well with any and every type of food. Chicken, fish, potatoes, pasta… the list goes on and on. So today, I’m going to teach you how to make these Garlic Parmesan Ranch Chicken Thighs. They have the crispiest skin, are so easy to make, and will become a staple in your household. There’s nothing I love more than an easy and simple dinner recipe. Especially on weeknights when you want to have time for yourself. So this recipe for Garlic Parmesan Ranch Chicken Thighs is the perfect meal when you want a quick, delicious, weeknight dinner.
Crispy Chicken
The first step is to preheat the oven to 425℉. This high temperature is going to help render the chicken fat and skin so that it’s ready to get crisped. The next key to getting that crispy skin is to pat the chicken thighs dry and trim any excess skin or fat. Any excess moisture or fat is going to make the chicken skin soggy and wet. This will prevent it from getting crispy, so take the time to complete this step.
Next, place the chicken thighs onto a baking sheet lined with foil. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken and rub it all over until well coated. Season each side of the chicken thighs with the ranch seasoning, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. A lot of the time, I feel like we can underestimate how much a little salt and pepper can go. They’re a staple seasoning for a reason! Cook the chicken thighs in the oven for 40 minutes. They should look cooked and start to get a little crisp.
Butter Me Up!
While the chicken cooks, we can make the garlic parmesan butter. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, parmesan, parsley, hot sauce, garlic, and ranch seasoning. When the chicken is done, brush half of the garlic parmesan butter onto all sides of the chicken thighs. Bake the chicken for another 10-15 minutes. If your chicken thighs are smaller, it may only take about 8-10 minutes. Now, the chicken should look a deep golden brown and have that crispy skin. If desired, broil the chicken thighs for another 3-5 minutes to get the skin even more crispy. Brush the remaining garlic parmesan butter on top and serve it with ranch sauce!
Tried and True
What did I tell you?! It’s a quick and simple meal that’s so delicious you won’t believe how easily it came together. I’m a sauce girl, so I definitely enjoyed eating these Garlic Parmesan Ranch Chicken Thighs with a side of ranch. The garlic flavor definitely comes through, especially since we partially baked the chicken thighs with that garlic parmesan butter. Then the chicken thighs themselves are so tender and juicy! I love cooking with chicken thighs because you don’t have to worry as much about them becoming dry. In addition, the fat from the skin on top and the garlic parmesan butter help keep it moist. So if you’re looking for a tried and true weeknight dinner, these Garlic Parmesan Ranch Chicken Thighs are going to be your go-to recipe.
