Ingredients

  • 1 French Baguette
  • 2 cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 (4oz) Stick Unsalted Butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 8 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Parsley Leaves (minced)
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Dried Basil
  • 3/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400˚F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Cut the baguette in half then slice each half open, lengthwise, so that each half has a top and bottom slice.
  • In a medium sized bowl, toss the mozzarella and parmesan cheese together until evenly distributed. Set it aside for later
  • In a separate bowl, add in the butter, olive oil, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined. Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture onto each baguette. Place the top halves of the baguette back on top of the bottom halves. Then wrap each baguette half in aluminum foil. Place it onto the baking sheet and bake it for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, unwrap the foil and separate the top and bottom halves, placing them side by side on the baking sheet. Evenly sprinkle the cheese mix onto the 4 slices and bake them in the oven for 10 minutes. To make the garlic bread a little more toasty and golden brown, broil it for 1-2 minutes! Remove the garlic bread from the oven and cut into pieces! Enjoy!
