Ingredients
4Tilapia Filets
1 tbspVegetable Oil
½ inchknobof Ginger(thinly sliced into sticks)
2stalksof Green Onion(thinly sliced into sticks)
2 Garlic Cloves(roughly chopped)
½tspSesame Oil
⅓cupSweet Soy Sauce
Additional Shredded Green Onions(for topping)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425˚F
Lightly coat the tilapia filets with some of the vegetable oil and season both sides with salt and pepper. Lay the filets onto a sheet tray lined with foil. When the oven has preheated, place the tray into the oven and cook for about 10 minutes or until the fish reaches an internal temperature of 135˚F.
Heat a small pan over medium high heat. Add in the remaining vegetable oil and sesame oil. Then add in the ginger, scallions, and garlic. Sauté until the ginger, scallions, and garlic become fragrant and slightly brown. Then pour in the sweet soy sauce. Remove the sauce from heat. Spoon some of the ginger and scallion sauce over the fish. Top with fresh shredded green onions. Enjoy!
